Programs

Mid Valley Kinder & Child Care provides stimulating and creative programs based on individual and group observations. Our nurturing staff then interpret these observations and provide experiences and activities appropriate to each child’s level of development. Our educational and recreational programs are designed to encourage children’s development through a variety of experiences that help them become confident and independent.

Children and Early Childhood Development Minister, Maxine Morand has said,

“There is overwhelming evidence that the early years of life have a profound impact on each child’s future.”

She also said that, “... high-quality children’s services can help children in the early years of school to transcend socio-economic disadvantage and live full and productive lives.”

At Mid Valley Kinder & Child Care, planned, developmental programs operate in all rooms for all age-groups assisting children to develop a sense of self-worth, an inquiring mind and develop socialisation skills.

A school readiness program is run in our 3-5 age groups. This incorporates checklists to ascertain your child’s level of skills needed to make a successful transition to primary school.
